Hi my name is Christy Wagner, I'm a relatively average person, I have a job, a boyfriend, a brother, a dog, probably like a lot of you. I say relatively average because I'm also an Olympic athlete. After placing fifth in the double as part of the US rowing team in the Tokyo Olympics, I'm training now to try to make my second Olympic team. And this time I end up on the podium, and I want to take you with me. Being an elite athlete isn't all sneaker commercials and magazine covers. Once the torch goes out, the cameras turn off and the cheering crowds go home. The real work starts, as they say, it's what you do in the dark that puts you in the light.
